Why and how are these services priced?

Here at Toro, only the best materials are used. Titanium and gold jewelry from companies backed by safepiercing.org and artisanjewellers.org are the only jewelry pieces that will be carried here.  These materials will only come in threadless or internally threaded options - never externally threaded.  Additionally, everything is properly sterilized. For the tooth gems, they will always be lead free, oral safe Swarovski gems. Dental grade products are used to apply the gems to the tooth. 

If you are an adult (18+), please bring a government issued ID. The ID must have a picture of your face, full name, and date of birth. 

For minors (under 18), please bring a parent/legal guardian. If parent, they must have their government issued ID, minor's government issued ID (for everything except earlobes), and a birth certificate. Alternatively, if the adult is a guardian, they must bring court paperwork to prove guardianship.

If you show up to your appointment without proper identification, the service cannot be provided. You will get a choice to reschedule for a later date or be charged service fee for the appointment.  

Providing a body modification without proper ID is against the law.  

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you may be charged an additional late fee. Depending on other appointments, we may be able to still get you in, however, you may be asked to reschedule for a different day. If you do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged the late fee, which is 50% of the service. Please understand that we also deserve our time to be valued.

Tooth gems are oral safe gems glued to the surface of the tooth. Tooth gems cannot be applied to a fake tooth. As stated above, dental grade products are the only products used in the process of applying a tooth gem. Tooth gems last anywhere from 3 months up to 2+ years. If the gem falls off before 3 months, we will replace the gems free of charge.  

If wanting a specialized piercing setup - that can happen! Direct contact is the best way to make this happen, where we can ask a few questions to understand your vision. For special jewelry orders, we do require a deposit. Deposits are nonrefundable.  For curations, this is a "go at your own pace" type of service, there is no rush for completion.
